The power of positivity is profound. Practicing positive thinking in our day to day can seem simple, but it can also be elusive. When life throws a curve ball, it’s all too easy to forget to look at the bright side of things. Yet, actively choosing to stay positive even during the most difficult times can be substantially beneficial to our mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
When you begin to transform your life and make a commitment to choose positivity again and again, on a daily basis, you will start to notice a transformation that begins within and eventually encompasses your whole being. This is because the law of attraction not only exists and works, but it has a sort of ripple effect that extends far beyond a single moment in time.
If you choose positivity, positivity will choose you. And, once you make a commitment to positive thinking, you will impact others in a way you may have never seemed possible, because positivity is contagious. It is nearly impossible to avoid ingesting this energy, so all those who enter your space will feel it, too.
You will begin to notice changes in very tangible ways, even if they at first seem intangible. You will notice patterns in moments, times, events, names, and everything will begin to feel interconnected – because it is. You will have a newfound appreciation for universality, and when you appreciate this concept, you will form and sustain meaningful relationships with others, because you’ll realize you’re all the same on the inside.
We are all interconnected on an energetic level.
There is scientific evidence to prove this for any disbelievers. We are, by nature, made of energy and able to give and receive it at will. Most of the time, we engage in unconscious energy transfers with others. This will make us either feel exhausted and depleted or energized and renewed. We may not make the connection between our mood and intended or unintended energy transfer initially, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. We are transmitting our energy to others and receiving the energy of others each time we are in the room with at least one other person whether we are consciously doing so or not.
It often takes coming into alignment with your life’s purpose to begin to take notice of what’s happening at an energetic level. You will begin to feel the energy of others and to trust your own intuition. When you can trust your intuition, you’ll intuitively know who and what to draw near to you and who and what to avoid. In this way, you’ll be able to break what may have been a lifelong toxic cycle of allowing negativity into your intimate space. Instead, you will notice someone, or something is negative sooner than you perhaps would have in the past because it will just feel negative the moment it approaches. Even if you can’t place a finger on why and can’t put this into words, your intuition will kick in and tell you something is off, and this ‘thing’ needs to be avoided. By choosing positivity, we will attract positivity and be able to more readily eliminate negativity.
When you make a conscious decision to transform your life in this way and rediscover your authentic self, you will also be simultaneously choosing the concept of conscious manifestation. It will be easier than ever before to manifest the life of your dreams, the life you deserve to live. Your dreams will turn into action-oriented thoughts, which will then translate into action steps toward manifesting these things and, eventually, become your reality. You will do this time and again, manifesting and manifesting until you’re very tangibly living what had once only existed as intangible nice-to-haves.
When you begin to manifest more tangible and sustainable positive change into your life, you will realize that you will begin to witness a domino effect of wellness that occurs when you are continuously transmitting positive energy and paying it forward to others.
Your life will also begin to feel more balanced, with everything just as it should be. When life is in balance, each detail seems to fall seamlessly into place. No longer will you carry with you the heavy burden of anger, fear, pain, and resentment. Of course, life will continue to happen. There will always be ups and downs. Every day cannot possibly be perfect, because life isn’t perfect. But it will be balanced, and you will feel more centered.
Finding and understanding your authentic self can stir up some unsettling feelings, though. As you begin to become hyperaware of all aspects of yourself – the good, the bad, and the ugly – you be more in tuned with all the ways in which you believe you are existing in direct conflict with the person you want to be. You may begin to second-guess what previously seemed like miniscule emotions and actions, questioning whether they are appropriate to any given situation.
It’s not uncommon to feel uncomfortable at first when you’re engaging in self-reflection, contemplating whether you are to narcissistic, egocentric, or generally too uncaring.
After all, introspection is the catalyst to stirring up self-consciousness. Rest assured this is just par for the course and a healthy part of coming into alignment.
Once you’re able to move past this discomfort, you will have a renewed sense of self-confidence. This is a form of self-love that is sustainable, because it isn’t derived from a particular accomplishment or achievement that is unsustainable or easily forgotten. It isn’t a product of the approval of others. It’s a self-love that runs deep because it comes from deep within yourself. It took work to activate it, and once it’s activated, it is equally as difficult to turn it off.
When you can believe in yourself and feel as if you are unstoppable, you will be. There’s no better feeling, because you will realize that you can not only heal yourself but spread this healing to others. Others will feel this determination to do better, feel better, and realize better results in everything you choose to take on and be naturally motivated to live the same way. You will no longer focus your energy on fleeting coping mechanisms or negative behaviors or thought patterns. The need for these will cease to exist altogether, and a void will not be left to linger. They will be replaced with long-lasting, rejuvenating coping strategies and positive behaviors and thoughts that you can then share with those around you.
Because like attracts like, the more you emit this energy, the more it will be return to you.
Life is cyclical and reciprocal.
You will get back what you put in…and what you put out. Sustainable healing means taking the time to develop healthy boundaries and strategies to deal with life’s stressors. It won’t happen overnight, but it can happen if you set your mind to it.
Remember, you are the owner and operator of your own happiness. No one can affect the way you feel unless you let them, and no one can steal your happiness unless you let them. In this way, you are responsible for securing and sustaining the happiness you deserve. It starts within. Just the same, you are only in control of your own thoughts and actions, and others will also have to put in the work necessary to better their own circumstances. You can spread positivity, but you cannot allow negative energy from those unwilling to receive it to enter your space. You will have to learn to let go of what you cannot control in the process.
Choose sustainable healing. Create the destiny you deserve today. Start living in alignment with your authentic self and everything else will fall into place. You are worth it!
Break the silence. Break the cycle.
